Session on food consumers segmentation at AIB Annual Conference

PrimeFish researcher Birgit Hagen, from the University of Pavia, will participate at the Academy of International Business (AIB) (UK & Ireland chapter) Annual Conference in Birmingham (12 - 14 April).

On the 13th of April from 1.30 to 3.00 pm the University of Pavia will present its results on the food consumers segmentation on five European countries in the parallel session 2.3 dedicated to international marketing.

European consumers’ profiles and their willingness to pay for seafood products at Seafood Expo Global

The PrimeFish project will present an overview of the interests and trends in some of the most important European seafood markets. The results of these market studies developed with the participation of 6,500 consumers from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom will be presented for the first time at the next Seafood Expo Global (Xunta de Galicia booth #7-151; Brussels, 25 April)

German trade fair Fish International hosts PrimeFish presentation of latest trends and drivers of seafood consumption

For the first time the PrimeFish project will present an overview of the seafood consumption in the German market. On the 26th of February the project will held the presentation “Who's your target customer? PrimeFish Hints and Tips on the German and European Seafood Consumer” from 14  p.m. to 15 p.m. in the Business Lounge Hall 7 of Fish International.

PrimeFish will introduce latest research on seafood competitiveness in Conxemar

On the 5th of October PrimeFish will organise a presentation of the project in the frozen fair seafood Conxemar with the participation of PrimeFish coordinator, expert on food products development and innovation Gudmundur Stefánsson, who will present main lines of work of the project and main advantages on the 5th of October from 11.00 to 11.30 am in the stand of the Xunta de Galicia (E13).

PrimeFish organises a workshop on competitiveness in the seafood sector on the 6th of October

The PrimeFish project organises a workshop on competitiveness, marketing and value chain in fisheries and aquaculture in the CETMAR Foundation (Vigo, Spain). On the 6th of October international researchers on the fields of competitiveness, productivity and marketing will present a market-oriented prediction toolbox for the seafood sector (PrimeDSS).

The World Seafood Congress hosts two sessions on European projects on seafood market PrimeFish and Success

PrimeFish and its sister project Success are participating in the World Seafood Congress that is taking place in Reykjavík (Iceland) until the 13th of September. The congress is organized by the International Association of Seafood Professionals with the aim of exploring seafood innovation, food integrity and food safety.
