The PrimeFish project is organising a seminar in Vigo (Spain) concurring with frozen seafood trade fair Conxemar. On the 5^th and 6^th of October specialised researchers in the fields of competitiveness, productivity and marketing will be in the city to present the latest work of the project in these areas.

If you want to get a more detailed insight and participate in the production of scientific results in a dynamic meeting with other stakeholders of the seafood industry, you can write us to primefish@cetmar.org . Request for attendance will be carefully evaluated by the organisers due to the limited number of seats available. The workshop will take place on the 6^th of October from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.

The draft programme foresees the presentation and collective work on the PrimeDSS, a software that will support to seafood players on their decision-making process. Specifically, the session will focus on 3 of the 6 modules that build up the application:

• Product success check: to analyse the launching process of news products and key success factors for seafood products.
• Competitive position analyser: to identify and measure the key variables that affect seafood products in relation to the competitiveness environment where they are working.
• Value chain analyser: to look at the global value chain of seafood products and the opportunities and weakness that you may face.
